The Pile: Budget Facial and Bookwormy-ness

Don't you love lazy weekends? I haven't done a 'pile' post for a while so I thought I would show you some things I have been enjoying at the moment...

1) Magazine: The latest issue of Women's Health. I love their article on women's self defense, something that I haven't really considered - but it is so important as a young woman living in a big city and sometimes I don't consider the very real threats around.

2) Non-Fiction Read: Liquid Jade - this book investigates the politics and history of tea in a detailed and fascinating way. It was great to expand my knowledge of tea past just techniques and culture to an understanding of the its detailed legacy.

3) Fiction Read: Looking for Alaska - Its John Green, need I say more. I mean yeah its not quite as legendary as The Fault in Our Stars but I love the humanity of the characters. So much laughing and crying.

4) Facial: Beauty Formulas - Cucumber Hydrating Peel of Mask. This mask was so relaxing and soothing and it worked so well at clarifying my skin. Plus it smells amazing.

So overall it was a marvellous weekend. Q.S.B.
