Bookwormy-ness

Having finished my university studies I am very much enjoying getting into reading again. I think one of my favourite authors at the moment would be John Green. I discovered his works after having 'The fault in our stars' recommended by a friend.

Green's writing style is fantastic, he weaves a beautiful tale which is endearing and mildly addictive without being cliche. His characters, are strong and believable flowing abundantly with laugh-out-loud one liners and intelligent wordplay. His glorification of the nerd is also to be commended, as he makes us geek folk the heros - as opposed to the regular stereotype of 'best friend' or 'sidekick'.

ALSO - The fault in our stars is coming out as a movie soon - fingers crossed  its awesomeface

So next rainy day, get ya'll a John Green book, a cup of hot tea and steal a nearby kitten and enjoy these modern literary art works.
