Recipe: Tropical Breakfast Smoothie Bowl (GF, DF, V)

I love lazy Saturday mornings. Curling up on the couch with a good book, some fragrant oolong and a bowl of something yummy for brunch. At the moment there are so many gorgeous seasonal fruits available so I have been loving making fresh smoothie bowls sprinkled with delicious super foods. This one is made entirely of plant based goodness and has a zingy tropical flavour with the crunch of some indulgent cacao nibs.


Ingredients:

 Banana
Handful Strawberries
Handful Raspberries
Juice of a lemon
Ice
Buckwheat
Cacao Nibs
Walnuts

Instructions:

Add fruit, together with the juice of a lemon and a handful of ice into a blender. Blend until smooth and serve in a bowl topped with buckwheat, cacao nibs and walnuts. Enjoy with a cup of tea and a good book.
