Lists of stuff and things: My Weekend

I had a very fun and event packed weekend. Which included a craft fair, a stunning engagement party and a fun packed Sunday with my Dad.

On Saturday I went to the Auckland Art and Craft Fair with my lovely friend Sophie. I spent way too much money but came home with a fabulous stash of goodies. My favourite picks where a phases of the moon tee from Elephant and Bird and my bling-y mug and necklace from Crushes. This necklace has become a wardrobe staple already and I am counting down the months until the warmer weather so I can wear this gorgeous singlet.

When Samantha got engaged I was excessively excited. Her and her fiance are by far the cutest and most dedicated young couple I know and this love and quirkiness was articulated in their gorgeous rustic engagement party. Here are some snaps of the raw cakes I made for the event. The fudge cake recipe is already up on the blog and my cheesecake one will be up very soon!

My Dad is one of the coolest people in my life and I inherited a love of art, photography and alternative music from him. I had been wanting to go the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition for a while and I dragged Dad along. The photos were absolutely amazing and they inspired me to refine my photography skills further (and buy an expensive new camera). If you like photography, animals or are just looking for something fun to go to in the Auckland area I highly recommend it!

  1. Thanks for coming with me to the fair on Saturday!! It was so fun and we got so many awesome things. What is being broke? :P. Sam's engagement party looked gorgeous too, so aesthetically pleasing.
